HOW TO FIND US

BY TRAIN
The closest train Station is Newark Northgate which is about 1 and a half hours journey from Kings Cross Station in London. If you would like to visit us and are travelling by train, we are happy to pick you up from Newark Northgate station as there isn't reliable public transport to where we are. Please contact us and we can make arrangements.

BY CAR
Chapel Violins is situated in Balderton, just south-east of Newark-on-Trent in Nottinghamshire. Newark is roughly half way between Nottingham and Lincoln on the A46 and in Balderton, we are not far from the A1 motorway approximately 15 minutes north of Grantham. There is usually plenty of parking right outside The Old Chapel.

Directions From A1

Heading North or South on the A1, exit onto B6326 signposted to Balderton and Newark.

From southbound A1 you will go through 2 roundabouts. At the first roundabout take the last exit, following signs to Balderton and Newark heading over the A1. At the second roundabout take the first exit onto B6326.

From northbound A1 you will go through 1 roundabout and take the second exit onto B6326 signposted to Balderton and Newark.

After exiting the roundabouts onto B6326, take second right into Sibcy Lane. Follow the lane as it winds to the right and then the left – this is now Pinfold Lane. Approximately half way along the lane is Chapel Violins on the left at The Old Chapel.

Directions From Newark

Head out of Newark along London Road towards Balderton. Continue along London Road until you come to a set of traffic lights with Newman Watters Veterinary Surgery on the left and the A1 Fish Bar on the right.

At this intersection turn left into Main Street. Head along Main Street until you come to Chesters Pub on the right. Turn right around Chesters Pub into Pinfold Lane. Approximately half way along Pinfold Lane on the right is Chapel Violins at The Old Chapel.
